The Over Think

     The only thing that is more painful than loving everything, is not.     The heart was made to love. To give. However many layers of ego and hurt and lies and desires you layer over that, it doesn't change the fact it exists to love. The sun continues to shine behind the clouds, even if you put an entire planet between you and the sun, it is still there, still shining.     And what does that have to do with turning lead into gold? In the spiritual sense, the concept of transformation, is just about letting go. It is a mental process of understanding, your heart is always shining, it is always the sun, you can close your eyes to it, but you can't stop it. The lies we tell ourselves, the illusion that we can be less than what we inherently are, are the impurities.            There is so much in this world I do not understand. So much that I have to accept I will never understand. There is only so much time to learn and experience, just in regards to what mankind has to teach, that I cannot possibly take it all in. And then there is the infinite amount of things no human has yet discovered or experienced that will forever be a mystery.     And so it is critically important to make peace with that. I can accept it so that it is not a stumbling block to growth, or not and live in some kind of delusional fantasy. The fantasy is very appealing, what an amazing ego boost it must be to dismiss experts because I know better. To believe all news I disagree with is just propaganda.        One of the unquestionable highlights of the Star Wars Universe is... well, the universe. Or the galaxy at any rate. It just may be the best example of world building in fiction, or at least on par with the best. Which is both wonderful, and utterly frustrating. Because so much of it is either not fully fleshed out or it's left to supplemental materials to explore. So my hope is, with the Skywalker saga dragged limping across the screen to it's death, Disney explores the galaxy.     I get it. As a romantic love story, Anakin and Padme was terrible, Hayden was god awful and Natalie limped through those parts of her role. There was no chemistry and the dialogue was terrible and there was no way Padme realistically fell in love with Anakin. Except...     Star Wars isn't a romance saga. Anakin and Padme was not a love story. The dialogue was actually all too real when taking into account what was actually happening. Hayden Christensen gave the most underappreciated performance in a trilogy prequel to a popular sci-fi fantasy trilogy ever. And considering what Natalie Portman was subjected to after becoming a successful young actress (if you don't know I'll briefly sum it up: guys are gross), she clearly leaned on that experience while acting in scenes of being ogled and objectified that must have been all to real for her.      Also, quick aside, Darth Vader was not a fallen hero.         The quick and easy explanation for how midichlorians work is: Like plants converting sunlight into energy that is usable by other forms of life, midichlorians convert the Force into something that can manipulate and be manipulated by other forms of life.
